You can test innovative DeepTech product ideas in the makerspace. The equipment includes workstations for electronics, 3D printing, mechanics and office space. Construction of the DESY Innovation Factory started in Science City in November 2024. With two locations - centrally located on the DESY campus and at Innovationspark Altona on Vorhornweg - the integrated technology and start-up center will offer an outstanding research infrastructure for start-ups, scale-ups and companies that is unique in Germany.
