Citizen participation
Through close citizen participation Science City is designed with everyone for everyone for all. Numerous event offerings enable active participation.
"In the coming decades, Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld will be one of Hamburg's largest and most important urban development projects, where research, university teaching and young companies will merge with new residential areas and existing neighborhoods. This will create a completely new urban space with affordable housing, modern leisure and shopping facilities and an excellent social infrastructure."

There are apprenticeships in workshops, computer centers, administration and catering for young people who want to learn a profession with a future in the special environment of the research campus.
Companies and self-employed persons can take part in public tenders for various services in connection with Science City.
