Science and sustainable quality of life are the common thread running through Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld. In addition to a new generation campus and a tailor-made environment for science-related companies, diverse neighborhoods with highly attractive residential areas, green open spaces and a sustainable mobility concept are also being created. Thousands of new apartments in a variety of forms are being created in the "quarters at Volkspark", which are open to researchers, teachers and students as well as everyone else. There will also be places for education and care, sport and leisure as well as local amenities. The lively whole will be connected to the historic Volkspark Altona and other landscape axes.
