The LIG ensures both in the development of Science City.
The LIG holds and procures the land for the new "Wohnen am Volkspark" quarter and has purchased buildings with rooms for science, teaching and research at Campus West close to the DESY research site.
In this way, the LIG promotes the development of Science City. Thanks to a comprehensive overview of the city's real estate portfolio, the LIG can identify, purchase and develop potential sites and make them available for residential, office and commercial use.
