Science Saturday: The Power of the Sun

In a glass bowl filled with milk, the color from the colorful chocolate sprinkles dissolves.
Science Saturday at the Lighthouse at the European XFEL promises fun and surprising insights.

What are all the things you can do with sunlight?

The Sun is a fascinating source of energy, a glowing ball of gas that emits heat and light and is so hot at its core that hydrogen atoms fuse there to form helium.

In experiments, children ages 6–9 discover ways to harness the sun's energy and enjoy doing science.
