Between August 28 and September 2, 2021, three public Science City workshops on the topics of 'Science City of Neighborhoods', 'Knowledge, Work, Life' and 'Reaching and Networking' took place on site at the Bahrenfeld trotting track. In the workshops, citizens were able to gather information and contribute their ideas and visions for the development of Science City, in particular for the 'neighborhoods at Volkspark'.
In addition to keynote speeches by experts from participating authorities and academia as well as committed individuals, comments, criticism and ideas on the topics were jointly developed at themed tables. As with the results of the online participation, the results will be incorporated into further work and thus into the vision for the future as specific test assignments for the planning offices.
The information provided by the public is supplemented by input from two children and youth participation workshops that took place in October 2021.
