As a major international research facility, European XFEL offers insights into state-of-the-art research.

The tour has a total length of 90 minutes and includes a guided tour of the exhibition and the experimental hall.

For groups over 10 people, please use European XFEL's booking request.

 

Important information about the tours

  • Minimum age: For safety reasons, visitors must be at least 14 years old.
  • Meeting point: At the information desk of the Lighthouse, Holzkoppel 4, 22869 Schenefeld. Information on how to get there can be found on the contact page.
  • Clothing and bags: Flat, closed shoes are compulsory in the experimental hall. Larger bags and rucksacks cannot be taken into the experimental hall, lockers are available.
  • Photography is permitted for non-commercial purposes. However, please do not take photographs of employees unless they expressly agree to this.
  • Accessibility: Barrier-free movement is possible during the tour.
