In the series*Art:Formula*, singer Kirill Novokhatko and physicist Ulf Zastrau take visitors on a journey of discovery: How do humans—the brain, the senses, the receptors—perceive art? How do color pigments work? Why is something “beautiful,” and when is a sound soothing? How do you build musical instruments that sound good? And is it actually possible to find a scientific representation—a formula—for art?
