Symbol photo for the lecture topic
Lecture by Prof. Dr. Simone TechertDESY) on photons for new active substances in medicine - and much more?

In this Science Café, we will also focus on the other, rather dark side of medicine.

It reports on curative (and less curative, i.e. more deadly) drugs that are very popular with doctors (and murderers), and what we at DESY as X-ray scientists contribute to research into their mechanisms of action.

Our DESY Cafés always take place at 6 pm on the DESY.

Participation is also possible virtually
via Zoom.
