The Internet has a cold, you could even call it a full-blown cold. A multitude of viruses, Trojans and worms are romping around on computers worldwide. Ransomware encrypts our private data and the databases of entire companies and demands a ransom. Cyber criminals and state hackers exploit all vulnerabilities in IT systems that present themselves, and there are plenty of them. The presentation provides a diagnosis of the state of the Internet and names forms of therapy that come from research and computer science.
